Day 6, and we joined a guided tour of Ninh Binh, the first capital of
Vietnam. The rivers and mountains made it a natural fortress. Led by
“Happy”, our guide, we saw the temple dedicated to the first king.
Then we rode bicycles through the rice fields, had a buffet lunch,
rode boats through mountains, then finally climbed up one of them. The
landscape around the city was breathtaking. Then, the 2-hour drive
back to Hanoi.
